The Black Law Students' Association of Canada Conference is coming to Vancouver and our Associate Lawyer, Janessa Mason, will be part of the “Preparing for a practice in litigation” panel.The conference features panels dedicated to different practice areas in the legal field, a much-anticipated Career Fair featuring employers from all areas of private practice, government, and more, and a Gala dinner, featuring performances and awards that celebrate Black leaders in the legal community, students, and BLSA Chapters at the various law schools in Canada. The overarching theme that is the driving force of BLSA Canada’s initiatives and events this year is In Excellence We Stand, In Power We Rise.

Janessa has been involved in the BLSA for a number of years and proudly supports the ongoing efforts of her legal community. She is excited to participate as a panellist this year.
